History

In 1989, (BAM) was established in Sana’a, Yemen.

By 1991, BAM entered into agreement with Complex (Australian based company) providing consultancy & logistical services which was partner in Block 10, along with Command Petroleum, partners in east Shabwah. In Block 21, BAM started by providing logistics support to Exxon & Texico.

By 1992, BAM became local Agent for Deutag Drilling & Petro Canada. Full range of local services including logistics, clearance, government support & immigration where Deutag Drilling also contracted by Shell in block S1, & Total block 10 & Exx on block 1, as Btm continuted its sucessfull partner providing them with all the logistical & government support.From then, BAM started to serve many companies as it started to gain good stand of reputation in the market.

In 1997, BAM successfully joined with Presussag Energie GmbH to obtain Block S2 in AlUqlah and has established Yemen Resources Ltd. http://www.yemenresourceltd.com/.

With effect from 1 January 2003, the European oil and gas group OMV acquired the entire international E&P portfolio of Preussag Energie GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TUI AG.

In 2002, BAM was able to sustain and join Hyundai engineering in Marib substation project for 400 KVA transmission project.
